Terms of Service

The short version

Slow Calendar is intentional, focussed planning for the year, built in good faith. Use it honestly, don't misuse it, and we'll keep building it for you. Your data is yours — always.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Slow Calendar, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. These Terms apply to all users of slowcalendar.com and any associated apps.

Everything you enter into Slow Calendar — your people, intentions, journal entries, events, and moments — belongs to you. We do not claim any rights over your content.

You grant us a limited licence to store and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not sell, share, or analyse your personal data for commercial purposes.

You can export your data or delete your account at any time from Settings. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the service
• Use automated tools to send bulk requests to our servers
• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes third-party rights

5. Service availability

We aim to keep Slow Calendar available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes to the service at any time.

We are not liable for any loss of data or interruption to your use of the service, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

6. Emails we send

By creating an account, you agree to receive a welcome email. We may occasionally send product updates or important account notices. You will not receive marketing emails without your explicit consent.

To stop receiving emails, you can delete your account from Settings, or contact us at hello@slowcalendar.com.

7. Limitation of liability

Slow Calendar is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or £50 if you have not paid anything).

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
